Best Dog Anxiety Vests

Our nine year old Chihuahua was never a nervous dog in his youth but as he's gotten older he's become more so. It doesn't help that he was diagnosed with diabetes almost two years ago and now has cataracts and can barely see.
The neighborhood has also gotten louder over the years. There are more car backfires, random fireworks, and even one neighbor who insists on doing karaoke with a loudspeaker in his backyard late at night when he has family over.
We live near our city's football stadium and our son's high school is at the edge of our subdivision. Seasonal football games and music events are neat for us but not for our pet.
All of these things send our dog into a tizzy. He doesn't get particularly whiny but he won't leave our side. He wants to be in our lap or have us pet him which is fine but not always convenient.
That's where these vests come in. They're like a security blanket applying pressure that mimics being held or cuddled.
They're not perfect and they don't work for every dog but they're certainly worth a try if you live in an environment that is occasionally upsetting to your pet.
Here are the ones we like the most that also have strong ratings.
